The National Children’s Oral Health Foundation (NCOHF) recently awarded grants totaling $102,859 to 10 not-for-profit community, university, and hospital-based dental programs nationwide. The recipients are members of NCOHF's national affiliate network.
"NCOHF is fortunate to have generous individual and corporate partners who share our commitment to eliminate pediatric dental disease, the #1 chronic childhood illness in America," said Fern Ingber, NCOHF President and CEO, in a press release. "Funding from our dedicated supporters allows NCOHF to continue providing our affiliates with the resources to give underserved children suffering from pediatric dental disease access to life-changing, smile-saving oral health services."
Major donors include Microdental, Discus Dental, and Heraeus Kulzer, she noted.
