ADA dues to remain the same for 2010

The 2009 ADA House of Delegates has voted not to increase the association's annual dues for 2010, so they will remain at $498, according to an ADA News article.

The ADA Board of Trustees had presented the House with a balanced budget, but the addition of some programs approved by the House at the annual meeting in Hawaii resulted in $536,050 in additional expenditures, according to the story. The budgeted expenses for 2010 are $115.2 million against anticipated revenues of $114.7 million.

The House has directed the Board to balance spending with funds from the association's reserves.

New programs added by the House include a student loan contract analysis program, development and implementation of a communications and public relations plan for the Commission on Dental Accreditation, and a study of ADA employees' retirement plans, the story concluded.
