Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster has filed a lawsuit against a Joplin, MO, dentist who allegedly submitted fraudulent Medicaid claims, according to a news story in the Joplin Globe.
Koster alleges that Samuel A. Miller, D.D.S., and his wife Gina Miller filed claims and billed Missouri Medicaid for dental procedures that were never performed over a four-year-period. The procedures included x-rays, root canals, and composite and amalgam restorations.
The couple came under investigation after a tip to the state attorney general's Medicaid fraud control unit, the story stated.
