The New Jersey State Board of Dentistry has suspended the licenses of two dentists following criminal activities, including Medicaid fraud, according to state Attorney General Anne Milgram in a press release.
Somerdale practitioner Mitra Abdollahi, D.M.D., has agreed to a two-year year license suspension and a three-year probation after she acknowledged submitting false and misleading claims to Medicaid from 2002 to 2007.
Meanwhile, Bayville dentist Raymond Pacholec, D.M.D., who was arrested on March 16 after a marijuana-growing facility was discovered in his home, agreed to a minimum six-month license suspension.
