Birner Dental Management Services, which operates the Perfect Teeth chain of dental practices, reported profits of $677,000 for the quarter ending March 31 on revenue of $9.0 million.
By comparison, the company made $518,000 on revenue of $8.9 million in the same quarter last year.
The company said its dental offices had increased profits from specialty dentistry by $94,000 on the offices it already owned last year and made an additional $45,000 from a new office. It experienced a $46,000 decrease in profits on general dentistry.
Birner acquires, develops, and manages dental practice networks in select markets in Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona. The company currently manages 61 dental offices with 113 dentists.
