Henry Schein and the Chicago chapter of the Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity (AO) recognized oral health professionals for their service to the Alpha Omega-Henry Schein Cares Holocaust Survivors Oral Health Program.
The program, which launched in 2014, provides free oral healthcare to economically vulnerable Holocaust survivors. At a reception at the Renaissance Chicago North Shore hotel, AO and Henry Schein honored 28 Chicago dental practitioners who have treated 19 survivors and are currently treating 22 more.
"The success of the Alpha Omega-Henry Schein Cares Holocaust Survivors Oral Health Program relies heavily on the generosity of local practitioners, and Henry Schein stands proudly with the Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity to honor and thank the Chicago-area oral health professionals for their dedication to this deserving group of people," stated Stanley Bergman, CEO and chairman of the board of Henry Schein, in a press release.
