The Touro College of Dental Medicine has partnered with Alpha Omega-Henry Schein Cares Holocaust Survivors Oral Health Program to provide dental services for Holocaust survivors in need.
Dental care will be provided at the Touro Dental Health in Hawthorne, NY. The program seeks to increase underserved Holocaust survivors' access to oral care and enhance their overal quality of life. The program is jointly sponsored by Henry Schein and the Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity.
There are more than 45,000 Holocaust survivors in the NYC Metropolitan area, with approximately 40% of that population living below the poverty line, according to Touro.
