In 2022, Minnesota Vikings Quarterback Kirk "Kirko Chainz" Cousins vowed to get grills to keep up with teammate Justin Jefferson, and he has finally made good on his promise. Cousins debuted his gold teeth jewelry on February 27 in a post on his Instagram.
Cousins was all smiles in the post, which included the following: "If you haven’t yet found a Grillz-guy, check out Dr. Lebster," Cousins wrote. "5/5 stars! He doesn’t take Kohl’s Cash, but he does great work. I know @jjettas2 (Justin Jefferson) approves."
Jefferson, the Vikings' wide receiver, supported the new look, reposted the photo, and commented, “Next we got to get u some diamond ones" in addition to a couple of laughing emojis. Cousins’ post has received more than 135,000 likes.
From his superstitious wearing of teammates’ gold and diamond-encrusted necklaces following games to Cousins performing song and dance routines, the suburban dad is becoming an NFL favorite.
