They are six of the 50 most unique items that Uber riders have left behind, according to the fourth annual Uber Lost & Found Index. Every year, Uber releases this index to offer a snapshot into what riders leave behind and explain how they can get them back.
Many won't be surprised that phones, wallets, keys, and bags topped the list of the most commonly forgotten items in 2019. Uber also taps into the more bizarre items its riders have forgotten and also some other interesting behaviors.
The most unique lost item was mice that were to be a meal for the rider's pet snake. The second was a specimen cup from the doctor's office, followed by a rider's husband's continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) sleep machine, according to the index.
Dental items enter the list at No. 6, with a driver reporting a rider leaving behind one fake cosmetic tooth and a skin-colored retainer. Following behind a bag of three stuffed elves and Sriracha-themed high socks on the list is a little purple box with a gold dental appliance, also known as a grill, landed at No. 26 on the index's list.
Other odd finds included one rider's pants, his sword, a gold-colored Star Trek shirt, and fake ears, according to the index.

In addition to the unique items, Uber has found that riders from Lubbock, TX, are the most forgetful, followed closely by Oxford, MS.
Not a big shocker, but Uber riders are most forgetful on Fridays and Saturdays, and at 6 p.m., 11 p.m., and midnight. Cocktail much? The same probably explains why New Year's Day and St. Patrick's Day also land at the top for some of the most forgetful days.
Though it seems that many people tap their cards or use their digital wallets to pay, plenty of riders leave behind cash. Most often they forget $100, but some have left behind as much as $9,000 in cash, according to the company.
Whatever you leave behind, Uber reminds riders that it tries to make it easy to get your possessions back, noting the best way is to contact your driver as soon as possible.
