Johnson & Johnson Healthcare Products will contribute $100,000 for children's oral health as part of a campaign for its Listerine Whitening product.
The company will donate $100,000 to the National Children's Oral Health Foundation and will give the foundation an additional $1 up to $5,000 each time someone views a new video on the Listerine website by actress/singer Kristin Chenoweth, titled "Your Mouth Has Something to Say."
The short animated video, available online at www.listerine.com/yourmouth, showcases the powerful impact that smiles can have on people's lives, according to the company.
Viewing the video will not trigger a donation in Maine, Massachusetts, South Carolina, or Alabama, the company noted.
The campaign stems from a recent Listerine survey that found that nearly half of Americans surveyed don't think their smiles are beautiful and 43% don't smile in photos because of stained teeth, Johnson & Johnson said.
