Dental implant use has grown substantially since 1999, and the prevalence among those missing at least one tooth could reach as high as 23% in 2026 in the U.S., according to a new study. At the same time, access is still low and remains greater among certain groups. Read more here.

Implants are one of the most popular topics on DrBicuspid.com, so it was somewhat surprising to me that there haven't been many peer-reviewed studies published on the prevalence of implants in the U.S. We hope our reporting helps bring the situation into focus.
