MouthWatch has launched its in-home oral health monitoring system that visually connects patients to dentists.
The MouthWatch system allows patients to see for themselves the dental care they need, according to the company.
Patients use the system by capturing diagnostic-quality images at home using an intraoral camera, software, and a mobile app. The images are then securely shared with a dental practice for review, and patients can schedule an office visit when needed.
MouthWatch also allows dentist to attend to patients' concerns and questions conveniently, reducing "telephone triage" and "look-see" visits. The system brings telemedicine to dentists and specialists, according to the company.
