An Amazon delivery driver was arrested on December 15 for allegedly punching and attempting to sexually assault an employee in front of patients at a dental practice in Colorado, according to multiple news stories published on December 16.

Michael Coleman, 31, of Denver, CO, was arrested and sent to the county jail on charges of suspicion of committing sexual assault, unlawful contact, second-degree assault, third-degree assault, two counts of criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, and harassment.
Just after 3 p.m. on December 15, Coleman entered Emerald Dental in Lakewood, CO, to drop off a package and then attempted to sexually assault a practice employee. He allegedly struck the employee multiple times while trying to assault her.
Employees and patients who witnessed the alleged violent attack jumped in and pulled Coleman off the worker and held him until police arrived. Additionally, Coleman allegedly physically attacked other dental office employees, leaving at least one with serious bodily injuries, according to the stories.
Police have said that the attack appears to be random.
An Amazon spokesperson called the allegations “scary” and said the company was fully cooperating with authorities and that Coleman was no longer delivering packages to Amazon customers.
A criminal complaint is merely an allegation. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
