A dentist who runs a practice in Long Island, NY, has been charged with multiple counts of criminal possession of a weapon after his arrest on February 17.
Dr. Paul Carey of Massapequa was found to be in possession of 20 illegal long guns, including 18 "ghost guns," as well as seven silencers, 61 high-capacity magazines, and approximately 3,000 rounds of ammunition, according to a report from the Nassau County Police Department.
He was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the first degree, criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, and three counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, the police department reported.
