The National Association of Dental Laboratories (NADL) has launched a campaign encouraging dentists to keep abreast of dental lab regulations and legislative updates.
The "What's In Your Mouth?" campaign seeks to raise awareness of regulations, standards, safety issues, and the role that dental labs and technicians have in oral healthcare, the group said.
The NADL suggested that dentists research whether or not their state has minimum lab standards. The association also advised dentists to ensure that the labs and technicians they work with are certified.
