Align awards $300K in research grants

Invisalign maker Align Technology has awarded 12 university research grants totaling $300,000 through its 15th Annual Research Award Program.

The grants support studies on Invisalign clear aligners, covering topics such as patient adherence, treatment precision, periodontal outcomes, and bone remodeling.

The 2025 recipients include the following:

  • University of Liège, Belgium, Dr. Baurin Basil
  • Link Campus University, Italy, Dr. Giuseppina Laganà (awarded twice)
  • Unicamillus International Medical University, Italy, Dr. Roberta Lione
  • Sichuan University, China, Dr. Wenli Lai
  • Sydney Dental Hospital, Australia, Dr. Narayan H. Gandedkar
