Invisalign maker Align Technology has launched the iTero Lumina intraoral scanner, which is designed for faster scanning and improved visualization.
The iTero Lumina features a three times wider field of capture, it is 50% smaller, and it has a 45% lighter wand compared to earlier models. The new model has a larger capture distance of up to 25 mm and captures more data and greater detail with the goal of delivering better scan quality and photorealistic 3D models and eliminating the need for cumbersome digital cameras and cheek retractors.
