The Planmeca Imprex mobile scanning system has won a Red Dot Design Award in the product design category.
Imprex helps dental professionals capture digital impressions with the Planmeca Emerald S intraoral scanner and communicate treatment data via a touchscreen, Planmeca said. Additionally, the Imprex comes preinstalled with Planmeca Romexis and includes a PC, aiming to eliminate the need for a separate laptop.
