Henry Schein will sell Viome's Oral Health Pro with CancerDetect test that can detect oral and throat cancer.
The test examines gene expression in both the oral microbiome and human cells found in saliva to detect early biomarkers linked to oral and throat cancer. Healthcare professionals collect saliva samples and send them to Viome's lab for testing. Results are then made available on a secure portal within one to two weeks, enabling clinicians and patients to review the results together.
