Dental distributor Young Innovations has acquired the Charlotte, NC-based Salvin Dental Specialties, a supplier of dental implant equipment and biomaterials.
Salvin Founder Bob Salvin will serve as an adviser to Young Innovations and continue to provide counsel to the Salvin team and its customers. Salvin CEO William Simmons and Greg Slayton, Salvin's president, will continue to provide daily leadership and management for the business. No further details of the acquisition were released.
