TAG - The Aspen Group has opened the TAG Oral Care Center for Excellence in Chicago to provide dental care to underserved residents.
The 25,000-sq-ft clinic will provide cleanings, fillings, extractions, periodontal treatment, implants, restorations, 3D imaging and scanning, and restorative procedures such as crowns, bridges, and dentures to up to 2,500 patients annually. Patients can qualify for the center's services if they are Illinois residents eligible for Medicaid or who are uninsured and have a household income at or below 200% of the federal poverty level.
The center has been made possible through the support of Rep. Lakesia Collins (D-Chicago) and Sen. Mattie Hunter (D-Chicago) who introduced legislation expanding dentists' ability to provide free care to underserved Illinois residents, the Aspen Group noted.
