The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine (Pitt Dental) has opened a new oral and maxillofacial surgery and prosthodontics specialty clinic at Montefiore Hospital.
The clinic focuses on treating surgical cases, such as cancer patients, facial trauma, and complex facial conditions. It replaces the Montefiore dental practice, continuing care for specialty patients. The general practice residency program is also being reestablished to support patients.
