The Delta Dental of Wisconsin Foundation has announced matching funds for 14 technical colleges to expand oral health workforce programs.
This follows Wisconsin Act 89, which allocated $20 million for these initiatives. Colleges had to match 20% of their funding requests, and the foundation pledged up to $2 million in matching funds.
The funds will establish nine new dental programs and expand or improve 13 existing ones by upgrading equipment and facilities.
