Dr. Ken Tilashalski
Dr. Ken Tilashalski has been named as the new dean of the University of Tennessee (UT) Health Science Center College of Dentistry, effective July 1.
Tilashalski, has served as the executive associate dean since September 2023. He succeeds Dr. James Ragain, PhD, who served as the college's dean since 2018.
Tilashalski has coordinated preparations for site visits pertainint to the college's 2025 Commission on Dental Accreditation, guided the creation of a new strategic plan for the college of dentistry, supported research initiatives, and supported UT's efforts to increase student enrollment and open new clinics via the Healthy Smiles Initiative.
