IADR, AADOCR elect new officers

The International Association for Dental Research (IADR) and its U.S. branch, the American Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research (AADOCR), have announced the election of new officers.

Dr. Satoshi Imazato from the Osaka University Graduate School of Dentistry in Japan will serve as the IADR's vice president. Imazato's term will begin at the conclusion of the 2022 IADR/Asia Pacific Region (APR) General Session & Exhibition, taking place June 20-25, 2022, in Chengdu, China, and online.

In addition, the AADOCR announced that Dr. Effie Ioannidou from the University of Connecticut will serve as the association's vice president. Dr. Ana Bedran-Russo from Marquette University will serve as treasurer, and Dr. Jorge Perdigão from the University of Minnesota will serve as the AADOCR representative to the IADR/AADOCR Publications Committee.

Their terms will begin at the end of the hybrid 2022 AADOCR/Canadian Association for Dental Research (CADR) Annual Meeting & Exhibition, which will be held March 21-26, 2022, in Atlanta and online.
