The National Network for Oral Health Access (NNOHA) is calling for applications for its virtual Learning Collaborative on Integrating Behavioral Health and Oral Health (IBOH).
The event is funded through the association's cooperative agreement with the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). It will take place from September to December 2021, with the goal of improving the overall health of health center patients.
The "User's Guide for Implementation of Interprofessional Oral Health Core Clinical Competencies" will be used as a framework for implementing behavioral health screenings such as the PDQ-9 or PHQ-2 in the dental clinic, organizers said. The application deadline is 5 p.m. PT on Wednesday, August 4. Applications must be submitted through the online form.
