Howard University has named Andrea Jackson, DDS, as the dean of the College of Dentistry.
Dr. Jackson has served as the college's interim dean since July 2018. She completed her bachelor's degree, dental degree, and general dentistry certificate at the university before getting her Master of Science in prosthodontics from Georgetown University.
Dr. Jackson previous dental leadership experience includes serving on the Joint Commission on National Dental Board Examinations, the Commission on Dental Competency Assessments, and the American Dental Education Association.
She is a diplomat of the American Board of Prosthodontics and a fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists and American College of Dentists.
