DALE Foundation accepting applications for Koch scholarship

The Dental Auxiliary Learning and Education (DALE) Foundation is now accepting applications for the Liz Koch Memorial Scholarship.

The scholarship acknowledges individuals for their interest in and commitment to the oral healthcare profession and their mentorship experiences. Winners receive between $250 and $1,000 and gain access to three continuing education products from the DALE Foundation catalog.

The scholarship was established in 2014 in memory of Liz Koch, an advocate for dental assistants.

"Liz's vision fueled the confidence and success of so many people," stated Cindy Durley, MEd, MBA, executive director of the Dental Assisting National Board and the DALE Foundation, in a press release. "The Liz Koch Memorial Scholarship continues that vision, as well as her commitment to lifelong learning and mentorship."

Applications are due by July 10, and the winners will be announced in the fall. Download a PDF of the application here.
