Dean Elledge has been selected as the director of the Wichita State University Advanced Education in General Dentistry program.
Elledge will begin his new position as director on August 18, the Wichita Business Journal reports. The hire was announced in a staff memo by interim dean Keith Pickus.
Elledge leaves the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry, where he has served as an assistant director and was on staff since 1992.
The dental residency program, accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation, offers a one-year residency for dental school graduates. Elledge replaces the program's founding director, Dexter Woods.
