Oral Health Kansas gets $100K from DentaQuest

The DentaQuest Foundation awarded a $100,000 grant to Oral Health Kansas for improving access to oral healthcare in the state, according to a press release.

The organization's goals are to develop local pilot programs to strengthen local dental care, identify barriers to access and sustainable financial remedies, and explore models to improve the dental care delivery system and reimbursement. The funding will help cover the costs of a multiyear initiative in collaboration with the Kansas Dental Association, Kansas Hospital Association, Leading Age Kansas, and the Kansas Health Care Association.

Oral Health Kansas is the state's oral health advocacy organization formed 10 years ago to strengthen the state's oral health through education, advocacy, and public awareness.
