COLOGNE, Germany - So getting to the International Dental Show from the U.S. required a red-eye flight, translating into a very poor night's sleep.

I actually had my first meeting before I even left the airport, where I learned about the new digital Captek restorations (Argen). The Captek coping is fabricated from a scanned model, giving excellent accuracy when full ceramic restorations may not be indicated.
After that I met up with Paul Feuerstein, DMD, and we took the train to Cologne.
I did not have a lot of time on the convention floor on Tuesday, but I did see some interesting new products from Bien-Air Dental. They are working on an iPad controller for the Trios intraoral scanner and an iPod touch to control an electric handpiece.
