The ADA is again warning its members about a spam email that may be showing up in their inboxes.
The ADA issued a similar spam alert in July, according to an ADA News story.
In this latest case, the email subject line reads "Introducing a new Application" and states: "Dear Members: We are implementing and introducing a new application to easily access and secure all member practitioners. Download the new ProDent software now and enjoy the benefits."
The email is not a communication from the ADA, and the ADA is urging anyone who receives it to delete it. Clicking on the link contained in the email could introduce a virus into the user's computer.
