Carestream Dental has announced a new partnership with Amazing Charts that will enable the company to provide certified electronic health records (EHRs) for Carestream Dental's customers who use CS SoftDent, CS PracticeWorks, CS WinOMS, Windent, and OrthoTrac practice management software.
The Amazing Charts EHR meets all 25 of the necessary requirements to be certified for meaningful use, enabling eligible professionals to receive the financial incentives offered by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services under the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act, according to the company. Amazing Charts includes the Meaningful Use Wizard, a tool that guides the user step-by-step through the process of data collection and documentation.
Amazing Charts is currently used by more than 5,000 doctors across the U.S., according to Carestream. In the coming months, software integration will be offered to users of CS SoftDent, CS PracticeWorks, CS WinOMS, and Windent to further simplify the use of the Amazing Charts EHR alongside their existing practice management software.
