Students at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry have banded together to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project by participating in Tough Mudder.
Twelve students recently completed the rigorous 12-mile obstacle course in Frederick, MD, that was designed by a military special operations team. The students raised more than $1,000 for the project by participating in the event.
The Wounded Warrior Project provides several programs for veterans, including counseling, peer support, rehabilitative services, and employment services. Tough Mudder participants worldwide have raised more than $3 million for the Wounded Warrior Project.
