Airway Management has established the Dental Institute of Sleep Medicine to train dental practitioners in the use of the TAPĂ‚ oral appliance therapy for sleep-disordered breathing.
Upcoming courses at the institute are sponsored by TAPĂ‚, VirtuOx, and Patterson Dental, according to a press release.
All courses are conducted in an interactive workshop format and include presentations, hands-on exercises, and question-and-answer sessions. An introductory one-day course titled "Jump Start Your Practice" and an intermediate one-day course titled "Clinical Mastery" are being held on successive days at multiple Patterson Dental branches around the U.S.
A three-day "Advanced Comprehensive Therapy" course is held monthly at Airway Management in Dallas, Texas.
