The American Association of Dental Office Managers (AADOM) has announced its extended relationship with Mercury Data Exchange (MDE), which provides real-time revenue cycle management services for dental offices. MDE will continue to serve as the official insurance clearinghouse of AADOM, offering its members resources and tools that help to improve workflow efficiencies in financial processing.
MDE services provide support for office managers by streamlining the entire revenue cycle from before the patient walks into the office until after the patient's procedure is complete.
MDE's real-time adjudication (RTA) software and services enable AADOM members to do the following:
- Automate tasks such as eligibility checks and benefits verification to reduce delayed scheduling of patient procedures.
- Gain real-time access to predeterminations and utilization of claims submission and tracking for increased case acceptance.
- Transfer funds electronically and minimize payment delays with next-day payment options available through select payors to improve cash flow.
- Send custom print and e-statements through a proprietary patient payment portal to reduce bad debt.
