The doors have opened at Patterson Companies' Patterson Technology Center in Effingham, IL, a 100,000-sq-ft facility designed to enable advances in dental industry technology and software.
The center, which officially opened October 27, supports Eaglesoft practice management and digital software, Caesy patient education, digital panoramic x-ray and sensors, Patterson-branded computer hardware, and other Patterson products, such as Cerec and Schick, according to the company.
The three-level facility and its staff of roughly 400 employees will focus on comprehensive software development, digital technology, and call center support capabilities.
The center also features a simulated dental office, expanded usability labs for software testing, SMART board technology, and expanded resource rooms equipped with products to facilitate customer service and ongoing hands-on training.
