Educate new patients about the practice
New patients need to know about the practice. A good way to accomplish this is by talking about the doctor. A script such as, "Let me tell you a little bit about Dr. Smith," can fulfill this need. Have this information carefully scripted to highlight the doctor in the best possible light.
Be open and informative. Information about the practice and its services shared with the patient often goes a long way toward creating confidence in the practice, a major contributor to case acceptance and increased production. And of course, it's the best way to build trust.
Don't simply get their name and insurance info.Don't treat patients like numbers. That's the surest way to lose them. You want them to feel your practice is their "dental home." Patients should trust that their decision to come to your practice was the right one.
