Trapezio has launched a new online course designed to educate and train orthodontic team members on federally mandated Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements.
The new Academy of OSHA Safety program covers key safety topics, including bloodborne pathogens, hazard communication, and general office safety, and is now available as part of the new Learning Management System (LMS) offered by Trapezio. Each of the three lessons requires an examination with an overall passing score of at least 75%. Scoring is securely stored in the system for administrative review, future assessments, and tracking of annually required OSHA training.
Once all exams have been passed, team members and administrators can print the OSHA Certificate of Completion to store within their office OSHA manual.
The Academy of OSHA Safety content was developed by Leslie Canham, a veteran consultant with almost 40 years of dental experience who is authorized by the U.S. Department of Labor as an OSHA outreach trainer in general industry standards, the company noted.
