Butler Tech will begin offering a two-year dental assisting program at the D. Russel Lee campus in Hamilton, OH, starting in the 2011-2012 school year.
The school currently offers a foundation course in dental assisting, but the new program will provide a more involved education in the field, said Monica Marsh, principal of the D. Russel Lee Career Center, in a press release.
The dental program is housed in a new state-of-the-art lab, which was custom built for dental health education, according to Butler Tech. The lab includes four operatories and several x-ray machines.
