Make no mistake: How your practice appears to patients who are considering cosmetic dentistry may be as important as the treatment plan presentation. A patient is very unlikely to accept cosmetic treatment if the office is not aesthetically pleasing. Your office decor says a lot about your practice. Make sure it says what you want it to say!
Improve your office appearance. The atmosphere of a cosmetic practice should be attractive and aesthetically pleasing. Is it time for a practice makeover? How old is the furniture in the reception area? Does it appear cluttered and disorganized? When was the last time your practice was painted? Does your office shine? Or is just OK? Levin Group recommends that practices update their decor every three to five years.
Don't overlook your parking lot. Step outside the office and look at it through the eyes of your patients. Is your office exterior attractive? Does your signage look professional and welcoming? Is your parking lot well-maintained and well-lit? If your office were a patient, would it need a smile makeover?
