Dental marketing firm Nampora Dental announced a pay-for-performance marketing service at the Annual Nation's Capital Dental Meeting in Washington, DC. In the new program, dental offices will pay only for each new patient inquiry Nampora generates.
Nampora's service, developed for the dental industry, is based on the concept of affiliate marketing in which marketers are paid by the customers they refer rather than upfront or on a retainer. This model allows the advertisers, who are typically large e-commerce Web sites and consumer product manufacturers, to generate new business with little upfront costs, according to Nampora.
Affiliate marketing has been a driving force behind the growth of many businesses online but few small businesses with local audiences, stated Nampora, adding that it hopes to change that with its dental marketing service.
The service has been piloted by several of Nampora's dental practice partners in the Washington, DC, area, but this week's conference marks the official launch of the service across the U.S.
Nampora Dental is part of the Maryland-based group of technology companies that includes Nampora Consulting and Snoozester, an online wake-up call service.
