Advantage Dental has bought Hayden Family Dentistry Group, a practice with clinics across Oregon, the dentist-owned cooperative announced.
Two companies affiliated with Hayden Family Dentistry, West Coast Dental and Oregon Professional, have also been acquired by Advantage Dental. Under the terms of the agreement, Advantage Dental will acquire Hayden Dental's Oregon Health Plan contract, its approximately 60,000 recipients, and its clinic network. The deal will more than double the number of Oregon Health Plan dental patients covered by Advantage Dental.
"Merging with Hayden Dental will make Advantage Dental more competitive and helps grow our dental network in all markets," said Advantage Dental President and CEO Mike Shirtcliff in a press release. "Through its partnership with Hayden Family Dentistry, Advantage Dental will be close to reaching its goal of a statewide network."
