DESS Dental is collaborating with Zahn Dental, the dental laboratory business of Henry Schein, in the Giving Seniors a Smile program.
The program's goal is ending hunger among older adults in the U.S., as well as supporting their oral health.
The collaboration aims to do the following for adults ages 65 and over:
- Give older adults the oral care that many lost because of the COVID-19 pandemic
- Prevent eating difficulties and malnutrition due to dental issues
- Help older adults understand the link between oral health and overall health
- Enhance their access to oral health
