- Default Practice Value Multiplier: Calculate the average revenue for the last 3 years and multiply by this number. This is a base number used for calculating all percentage adjustments below.
- Earnings 3 yrs ago: Based on the earnings choice (low, avg, high) add the adjustment.
- Earnings 2 yrs ago: Based on the earnings choice (low, avg, high) add the adjustment.
- Earnings 1 yr ago: Based on the earnings choice (low, avg, high) add the adjustment.
- Square Footage: If the square footage is above the threshold add the adjustment. If the square footage is below the threshold subtract the adjustment.
- Digital X Ray: yes = add the adjustment, no = no change
- Digital Panoramic: yes = add the adjustment, no = no change
- Fee for Service: If Fee for Service % is greater than the threshold add the adjustment.
- PPO: If PPO % is greater than the threshold add the adjustment.
- HMO: If HMO % is greater than the threshold add the adjustment.
- Medical Assistance: If Medical Assistance % is greater than the threshold add the adjustment.
- New Patients If new patients > 200, add the (high) adjustment. If new patients <= 200 and new patients > 100, add the (avg) adjustment. If new patients <= 100, add the (low) adjustment
- Active Patients If active patients > 1500, add the (high) adjustment. If active patients <= 1500 and active patients > 1000, add the (avg) adjustment. If active patients <= 1000, add the (low) adjustment
- Active Patients (Fee for Service > 50%) If active patients > 1000, add the (high) adjustment. If active patients <= 1000 and active patients > 700, add the (avg) adjustment. If active patients <= 700, add the (low) adjustment
- Lost Patients Adjustment: If new patients < lost patients add the adjustment
- Population Adjustment: The zipcode is used to look up the population density (people per square mile) for the area. If the density > 3000, the area is considered Metro. If the density <= 3000 and > 1000, the area is considered Suburban, If the density <= 1000, the area is considered Rural. The corresponding adjustment is added for each region.
