Accurate impressions of multiple implants; teeth-whitening lawsuit; Climo on 'entrepreneurs'

Dear DrBicuspid Member,

In his latest column, consultant Thomas Climo, PhD, relates an experience you may have had. What do you do when a persistent, but perhaps underfunded and inexperienced, entrepreneur knocks on your door to tempt you with selling your practice, not having administrative responsibility, and participating in purchasing a growing number of dental practices. Read his column here.

A lawsuit has been filed by a teeth-whitening entrepreneur and a public advocacy group challenging the Georgia dental board's rule prohibiting nondentists from doing teeth whitening. Read more about both sides here.

Many components make up a dental practice. If the parts are working in sync, that's great. If they are functioning separately, then the practice will be less effective, see fewer patients, bring in less revenue, and have other problems. Consultant Nena Price looks at the fundamentals of your practice and explains why having the right staff is vital. Read her column here.
