The 18th edition of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) International Dental Conference and Arab Dental Exhibition (AEEDC Dubai) opened today featuring a number of regional and international officials, heads of delegation, representatives from 130 countries, and more than 1,400 companies, according to a news story on Emirates247.com.
The event features scientific activities, including the GCC Preventive Dentistry Conference, AEEDC advanced specialty courses, 17 specialized courses and workshops, poster and oral poster presentations, the fifth AEEDC student competition, the Global Scientific Dental Alliance Meeting, and the AEEDC Dubai awards.
The conference includes 19 national pavilions from Brazil, China, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Hungary, Japan, Taiwan, Turkey, Korea, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Portugal, the U.S., the U.K., and the UAE.
"AEEDC Dubai plays an effective role in the professional development of dental care in terms of displaying the latest technologies and the rich scientific content," said Dr. Tariq Al Khoury, honorary chairman of AEEDC Dubai, in the story.
