The ADA is questioning the Pew Center on the States' contention that adding midlevel providers to a dental practice can enhance productivity and boost a practice's bottom line.
In a paper released March 1, the ADA challenges the accuracy of the Pew Center's December report, "It Takes a Team," and concludes that Pew used unreasonable assumptions and faulty economic analysis in coming to its "erroneous conclusions." Click here to read more.
In other news, research to be presented at the upcoming International Association for Dental Research (IADR) meeting compared five remineralization products to determine which have the highest calcium and fluoride release, pH, and tubule occlusion. Click here to see which product topped the list.
