What is DrBicuspid's Refer A Friend promotion? The DrBicuspid.com Refer A Friend promotion is designed to encourage current DrBicuspid.com members to share DrBicuspid.com with their professional dental colleagues and team members. For every friend you refer who becomes a member of DrBicuspid.com, DrBicuspid will donate $10 to one of the charities listed. NOTE: please limit your referrals to dental professionals only. Is there anything important about how the promotion works that I need to be aware of? Yes. People you refer to the site MUST click the "Join DrBicuspid" button from within the invitation e-mail in order for you to get credit for the new member sign up and for us to make the contribution to your charity of choice. You might wonder why this limitation is there. It has to do with e-mail link tracking. It's kind of a long technical answer but if you really want to know click here and we'll follow up with you. How long will the promotion last? March 10, 2011 through midnight on June 8, 2011. Are there limitations on how much total money DrBicuspid.com will donate to the charities listed? The charitable contribution from DrBicuspid.com is limited to $25,000. Can I refer more than one person? Yes. In fact you are encouraged to. Just make sure that the people you are referring are dental professional and team members -- dentists, hygienists, dental assistants, specialists, dental students and faculty, vendors, and other support functions are all welcome. Are there any limitations that would prevent me from referring friends? Yes. You must be a registered member of DrBicuspid.com in order to refer others and take advantage of the charity contribution. The people you refer must also be dental professionals – dentists, hygienists, dental students, dental faculty, industry vendors, consultants and all other ancillary dental staff are welcome. When will you make the contribution to the charity I have chosen? DrBicuspid will be providing a check to the charity of your choice at the end of the three-month period. Is there any business relationship between you and the charities listed? No. These are groups that we believe are providing valuable dental related services to the U.S. and around the world. Each charity has a different focus so take the time to read about them and find the one that matches your own areas of interest. Are there any instances when DrBicuspid might not make a contribution based on a person who signed up? Our goal is to grow our site and give back to the dental community. We expect that the vast majority of users will refer legitimate dental colleagues and friends who will appreciate DrBicuspid and enjoy the benefits of seeing their chosen charity benefit as well. However, if we detect activity generated by spammers, bots or referred e-mail addresses that are clearly fake and/or have no relation to the dental industry we reserve the right to hold or suspend the payment. If that situation arises, we will attempt to contact you using your member e-mail in order to make sure that nobody is attempting to abuse your member account.
