It's about balance

As the owner of their businesses, most dentists often find it difficult to leave the job when they go home. But the practice is only one part of your life. You can't ignore other aspects, such as family, friends, and hobbies. Remember, work will still be there when you arrive at the office.

Take care of yourself. Your health is everything. Too many practitioners run themselves ragged by not eating properly, not exercising regularly, and not getting enough sleep. That kind of unhealthy lifestyle will catch up to you. One suggestion for all dentists is to develop some type of exercise program to maintain and improve your health. You can't prevent all illnesses and diseases, but you certainly have opportunities to enhance your physical well-being.

Don't be negative. Positive people attract other positive people. If you have a tendency to be negative or see the worst in every situation, your team and others will often follow your example, which usually leads to more stress. Remember: There will always be challenges and problems, but having a positive attitude will help you overcome adversity and difficulties.
